Deposit Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
This document outlines the terms and conditions regarding deposit refunds at Ashwood Motors. By placing a deposit with Ashwood Motors, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
2. Deposit Refund Eligibility
Deposits paid to Ashwood Motors are refundable only under the following circumstances:
a) You have not physically viewed the vehicle in person.
b) You have not requested any works, modifications, or services to be carried out on the vehicle.
c) The refund request is made within 14 days of paying the deposit.
d) An error has occurred on Ashwood Motors' part regarding the vehicle, including but not limited to:
Issues with vehicle delivery as agreed
Discovery of an undisclosed major fault with the vehicle not mentioned prior to deposit payment
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Your deposit will be non-refundable if:
a) You have physically viewed the vehicle.
b) You have requested any works, modifications, or services to be performed on the vehicle.
c) More than 14 days have passed since the deposit payment.
4. Refund Process
To request a refund of your deposit, you must:
a) Contact Ashwood Motors in writing, stating your intention to cancel and request a refund.
b) Provide your full name, contact information, and details of the vehicle for which the deposit was paid.
c) Explain which of the eligible refund circumstances applies to your situation.
5. Refund Timeframe
If your refund request is approved, Ashwood Motors will process your refund within 4 business days. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original deposit.
6. Partial Deposits
In cases where a partial deposit has been paid, these same terms and conditions apply to the amount paid.
7. Amendments
Ashwood Motors reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will not apply retrospectively to deposits already paid.
